Meditation is a beautiful expression of self compassion.

Meditation can feel so difficult to achieve. Many people feel as if they can’t quiet and still their thoughts, or that they simply can’t sit still for long.

But with an approach of self compassion, you can learn to carve out a space of the day that is just for you. To allow self nurturing and kindness. With practise, you can learn to be present with your emotions and physical sensations, experiencing and honouring them as they are, without judgement or the need to change. Allowing everything to be held with a sense of openness and connectedness, and be truly ingrained in the moment of now.

Meditation can be experienced in so many different ways. By offering a sense of relaxation to the body, to have a mindful awareness of how our body feels. We can seek answers to deep questions, sparking intuition and inviting inner knowledge to come forward. We can sit with our emotions and lovingly nurture ourselves. We can dance, sing, paint, walk and even eat in mindful meditation!
